WARDOGS Vehicles — Prices, Seats & Unlocks

Season 1 Early Access (build 0.11) · 20 vehicles catalogued

On a 256 km² map with no respawn timer, travel time is the death penalty — which makes vehicles the most consequential purchase in WARDOGS. Twenty vehicles ship in Season 1 across five groups. Full prices and unlocks for land transport are below; flying? Start with the helicopter guide.

Tanks, Artillery & Combat (7)

Armor moves the line — but every vehicle lost is cash out of someone's persistent wallet.

Two tanks, one artillery platform and four combat vehicles complete the heavy catalogue. Artillery deserves special mention: indirect fire ties directly into the tower and zone fight, and the community already runs artillery calculators for it. Treat heavy assets as team purchases — a tank without infantry support is a donation to the enemy's economy.

Air Transport (2)

Two helicopter classes handle the fastest squad delivery in the game. Piloting is a genuine skill with real payoff — see the helicopter guide for controls, landing technique and the transport business model. At the top end, the MI-28 Havoc is the max-level attack helicopter.

How to Buy Vehicles Without Going Broke

Crew stations matter: check seats, fuel and resupply before you drive off.
  1. Match the vehicle to the job. A $500 Bobcat solves "get me to the zone." A $6,750 Ural Defender solves "move a rifle squad with suppressive fire." Buy for the job you actually have.
  2. Check the ammo and fuel. Vehicle ammunition is its own logistics — an infantry inventory doesn't feed a tank. Know the resupply route before you drive off.
  3. Don't solo team assets. Taking the squad's Humvee to shorten your walk is how friendships end and wallets empty.
  4. Protect the return. A vehicle that completes a loop and comes back is an asset; one that dies on the objective is a cost. Orient it toward the exit.
Driver XP note: land vehicle unlocks run on the Driver track with both level gates and cash unlock costs — e.g. the Humvee needs Driver level 15 and a $25,000 unlock. Driving your squad around is the cheapest Driver XP there is.

FAQ

How many vehicles are in WARDOGS?
20: 11 land transports, 2 tanks, 1 artillery platform, 4 combat vehicles and 2 helicopters.
What's the cheapest vehicle?
The Bobcat — $500, 2 seats, no unlock. The best first vehicle purchase in the game.
Do vehicles need special ammo?
Armed vehicles use their own ammunition, separate from infantry supplies. Check ammo type and resupply routes before deploying anything with a weapon.
Do you lose a vehicle when it's destroyed?
Yes — it was purchased with your persistent cash. This is why recovery routes and exits matter more than top speed.
