WARDOGS Weapon Tier List (Season 1)
Model built from Season 1 damage/RPM data · assumes equal player skill · armour and attachments not modelled
In most shooters the meta asks "which gun is best?" In WARDOGS every gun has a price tag, so it asks something harder: which gun is best per dollar, and can you afford to lose it? The ranking below is raw time-to-kill re-run at close, medium and long range. The commentary explains when a cheaper gun is the smarter buy.
S Tier — Fastest Across the Bands
| # | Weapon | Price | Role | Dmg | RPM | Shots to Kill | TTK Close | Med | Long |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | S FAL | $6,500 | Battle rifle | 60 | 650 | 2 | 92 ms | 206 ms | 347 ms |
| 2 | S SVD | $4,800 | DMR | 55 | 480 | 2 | 125 ms | 306 ms | 356 ms |
| 3 | S BMR-308 | $6,000 | DMR | 60 | 450 | 2 | 133 ms | 326 ms | 380 ms |
Two-shot rifles own the top of the table. The catch: FAL needs Assault level 35 plus a $200,000 unlock, and all three are expensive kits to lose on death. Treat S-tier as an investment, not a starting point.
A Tier — Competitive, Cheaper
| # | Weapon | Price | Role | TTK Close | Med | Long |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | A SUPER-45 | $2,600 | SMG | 150 ms | 194 ms | 538 ms |
| 5 | A M4 | $2,800 | Assault rifle | 225 ms | 325 ms | 592 ms |
| 6 | A T-21 | $600 | Assault rifle | 240 ms | 347 ms | 631 ms |
| 7 | A A-91 | $0 | Assault rifle | 257 ms | 371 ms | 676 ms |
| 8 | A BUSHMASTER M17S | $0 | Assault rifle | 257 ms | 371 ms | 676 ms |
| 9 | A KH-2002 | $0 | Assault rifle | 257 ms | 371 ms | 676 ms |
This is the tier that matters for most players. The free A-91 family kills within ~30 ms of the $2,800 M4 at close range — the M4's advantage is full-auto control and attachments, not raw kill speed. The $600 T-21 is arguably the best value gun in the game.
B Tier — Viable, Less Forgiving
| # | Weapon | Price | Role | TTK Close | Med | Long |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | B AK74 | $1,600 | Assault rifle | 277 ms | 400 ms | 728 ms |
| 11 | B GALIL | $2,200 | Assault rifle | 277 ms | 400 ms | 728 ms |
| 12 | B M249 SAW | $3,200 | LMG | 212 ms | 364 ms | 812 ms |
| 13 | B AMP-9 | $900 | SMG | 267 ms | 340 ms | 914 ms |
| 14 | B MP5 | $1,500 | SMG | 300 ms | 382 ms | 1,028 ms |
| 15 | B GGX 18 | $800 | Machine pistol | 200 ms | 353 ms | 1,339 ms |
B-tier guns are situational rather than bad: the M249 SAW's 212 ms close TTK is elite for objective-room defense, and the GGX 18 at $800 is a legitimate budget backup. They simply fall off harder at range.
Why the Price Tag Can Overrule the TTK

Because your loadout dies with you. A $6,500 FAL lost three times in a losing match is $19,500 gone; a player running free A-91s with $6,000 banked can absorb a bad half and still field a real kit at the end. The tier list answers "what kills fastest" — your bankroll answers "what should you run". The money guide covers how to keep that reserve healthy.
FAQ
- What is the best weapon in WARDOGS?
- By raw time-to-kill, the FAL ($6,500, 92 ms). By value, the free A-91 family or the $600 T-21 — within 30–150 ms of the S-tier at close range with no financial risk.
- Are free weapons viable?
- Yes. All three free assault rifles sit in A-tier with a 257 ms close-range TTK, roughly matching the $2,800 M4.
- Does this table account for armor or attachments?
- No — it's a damage/RPM model at set hit rates. Armor interaction, recoil and attachments can shift real matchups; treat it as a ranking of potential, verified against two independent Season 1 databases.
